Oh the humanity

A group of folks from the office spent the day working on a Habitat for Humanity build in Glendale. We nailed plywood sheathing up by hand for five hours and I've got the blisters to prove it.

But it's an amazing thing to consider that pretty soon families will be living in those townhouses who wouldn't otherwise be able to afford to live there. If I were rich, I'd give out lots of money, but somehow this feels better, dead arm and all.

Note: the pictures on that HfH site appear to be a Disney group working on the site and one of them is my friend and neighbor, Tom. Hi Tom! Good for you.
