In the midst of all the hurly-burly, it's the little things that catch my eye. In this case, a strange one-two punch of references to one of those obscure comic books I can remember from my youth--Kamandi.
Mark Frauenfelder mentions it over on boing boing this morning, even as it jumped off a page of Jonathan Lethem's Fortress of Solitude last night on the plane coming back from San Jose:
